NaBloPoMo – Day 7

If you could change one thing about your life right now, what would it be?

I would not be living in an apartment.  However, we knew this living situation would be temporary when we made the move to Raleigh earlier this year, so I can’t be too irritated about it.  Needless to say, we’re excited to move into a townhouse or single family home around the end of February!

If you could have any job (and instantly have the training and qualifications to do it), which job would you want?

I love my job, but if I had to choose something else, I’d probably be an event planner.  I love the little details of things, and especially love seeing plans come to life.  Also, I love spreadsheets and research, so it’s kind of a match made in heaven.  Except for the weird hours, of course.  :)

Talk about the last compliment you received.

Today marks the three year dating anniversary for Chris and me, so to acknowledge the occasion, I filled up the front of the fridge with post-its covered in the reasons in which I love my husband.  As a result, said husband appreciated the gesture and gave many compliments regarding the thoughtfulness.  He also brought home flowers.  :)  Good day.

If you were President of the United States, what would be your first act in office?

I really hate discussing politics, but if I had to pick something, I would do my best to fix healthcare in this country.  Quite simply, too many people fall through the cracks.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

This is tough for me because I’ve lived so many different places.

I would love to live in Germany again, but it’s hard to live in a foreign country, no matter how awesome it is.  I would also live in Austin again, because it’s hands down, one of the coolest, most unique, laid back cities I’ve ever had the chance to live in, and it’s awesome.  Chris would probably drag me to Phoenix in a hot second, so we’d have to add that to the list of opportunities as well.

And then I think of the places I haven’t lived.  Places like San Francisco, or Denver, or Chicago.  It’s too tough to make a decision.

If I had to pick one, it would probably be Austin.
